NL Prerequisites in Manitoba:
- 16 year's of age on or before the final class date
- Lifesaving Society Bronze Cross Certificate
- Standard* (Currency is recommended) First Aid (SFA)
Lifeguard Qualification in Manitoba:
- Current Standard* First Aid (SFA)
- Current Level "C" CPR
* Check with your employer as to which awards they accept
Assistant Lifeguard Qualification in Manitoba:
- 16 year's of age
- Current Lifesaving Society Bronze Cross Award
- Current Canadian Red Cross Assistant Lifeguard Certificate
- Current Standard* First Aid (SFA)
- Current Level "C" CPR
* STANDARD FIRST AID is a two or three day 16-24 hour first aid course. It should not be confused with the one day Emergency First Aid (EFA). Check your qualifications card closely!
